Verdict

Conna Cross had shown some potential before a good third to Hurricane Darwin at Thurles and should continue on the upgrade. Winning point-to-pointer Hard To Call was beaten a long way on his hurdling debut at Gowran but will have come on a bundle for the experience. Henry Howard has been disappointing on testing ground and may need quicker conditions so this should go to SUMMERHILL LEWIS. Paul Nolan's charge had shown a glimmer of ability before being heavily backed at Cork last month where he made a bold bid to make all but was outpaced by Walkabout.
