Verdict

WICKLOW GOLD may not have shown too much to date but this is a moderate contest despite the big field and Willie Mullins will have him spot on after a break since February. He's given the nod over The Job Is Right, who should prefer this better ground, and Velvet Rose, who was staying on at Cork last time. Bar Stool Bob could provide the main threat as he ran well over hurdles before a decent effort in a Cork bumper where he will have found the minimum trip too short.
