In depth

Verdict

Highland Falcon had Tom Dooley behind on opening day at the Curragh and his subsequent run in better company suggests he'll come out on top of the pair again though this should go to a newcomer. EXPEDITION is very speedily-bred and should be a real flyer. Aidan O'Brien's youngsters seem more forward than usual and the Oasis Dream colt should have the edge. Focussed represents Jim Bolger, who has made such a good start to the campaign, and he has enough pace in his pedigree to get into the mix while the 170,000gns yearling Ruler Of France is another to keep an eye on.
