Verdict

ARKLOW GER has always had problems with his jumping which once again let him down on his return from a very long break at Punchestown last month. He's on a very good mark over hurdles these days and Paul Nolan is the right man to exploit that situation. Bronte Bay is much better known as a staying chaser and is another on a lower mark over timber. He's in good form and looks certain to go well as does Porticcio, whose recent fourth to Rock County at Galway was his best to date over hurdles. Mr Clyde is fit from the Flat and was in good enough form over hurdles at the beginning of the year to make his presence felt.
