First Post, nine times a winner on the Flat in the UK, made a very encouraging debut over timber for new connections at Fairyhouse on January 1 but was beaten a long way on his return to the level a couple of weeks ago. Winning bumper Round Tower did well to finish runner up twice over hurdles in the spring but didn't get very far on his reappearance at Down Royal last weekend. He looks a danger to all if none the worse but SHOW COURT, who disappointed on his only start over timber at Cork in January when the going was very heavy, has run well enough on the Flat in recent weeks to be given another chance.
