Verdict

MASTER OF VERSE was a big disappointment in bumpers but put that behind him on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse in April with a very convincing victory. This is tougher but he'll improve again and looks the one to beat. Black Warrior enjoyed the step up to 2m3f and good ground at Clonmel and there's more to come while Consharon Boy was making his hurdling debut when landing a maiden at Killarney where he stayed on strongly over the 2m4f trip. High Nellie produced easily her best run to date at Punchestown, though that was over 3m which looks her sort of trip.
