The four-year-old CRYSTAL PEARL deserves a change of fortune and should get it here. Narrowly beaten in three of her four starts since joining Charles Byrnes, all in testing conditions, she should be suited by the slightly better going and can gain that elusive first success over timber. Tri Na Ceile looks the only logical threat though she appears to have run out of steam over this sort of trip in her last two starts after a cracking effort over the minimum distance at Punchestown. Shaunas Dream has been running poorly over fences but could still prove best of the remainder.
