Ardean Lass won a point at Punchestown last month and will have found the minimum trip too short on her hurdles debut at Navan a fortnight ago but ran well enough to suggest she should get into contention. However, she was behind runner-up STRIKE IS BACK in that latter event and Gordon Elliott's mare, who was showing her first sign of ability over hurdles, can make enough progress to go one better. High Nellie has had enough chances having had 14 starts over timber though she's produced a couple of decent efforts and was last seen in a Listed contest. Leader's Choice was well beaten when third at Thurles but that was her first start since October and her two previous runs put her in the frame for this.
