Verdict

Pat Kelly and Davy Russell had a brilliant day at Cheltenham on Thursday with Presenting Percy and Lizzies Champ should make a bold bid to take this rather more mundane prize for the pair. A winner over the course and distance in December, when Black Ice pulled up, he was then sent over an extra mile off a 12lb higher mark at Fairyhouse and couldn't handle the extra. He looks certain to go well though HARETH is likely to attract attention. Charles Byrnes' charge won on the Flat and over hurdles for Charlie Swan in 2014 and was having his first start since that year when a close third in a better handicap than this at Naas last month. That should have put him spot-on and he can start making up for lost time. Tidy Zag hasn't won for over three years though he's been lightly-raced and is well handicapped on the form he showed in 2013/14 when completing a hat-trick. He showed the ability is still there with a good run at Punchestown last month and can get into the frame.
