Verdict

Three-times hurdles winner Black Warrior didn't stay 3m1f at Wexford and is better judged on earlier efforts over shorter including on this track. Burndown also failed to last out over that longer trip at Roscommon after showing potential on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan. Cadeau Du Bresil progressed nicely over hurdles and though beaten a long way on his chasing bow will have come on for the experience. Just Cause has more experience than most of these though hasn't done as well as expected after a promising start. Voices Of Spring showed potential on his debut over fences at Killarney and though well beaten at Roscommon a return to this sort of trip will be in his favour and he can go well though this can go to a chasing newcomer in THE WEST'S AWAKE. Edward O'Grady's charge has been biding his time over hurdles though did manage to win at Fairyhouse and this has always been his aim.
