In depth

Verdict

SESKIN FLYER almost didn't get to run at Thurles on Saturday as his rider was 5lb overweight but it hardly matter as he sauntered home for a very convincing victory. A 6lb penalty is unlikely to cause any problems as his rider will be claiming his full allowance and Pat Carey's charge should complete a quick double. Fairymount Boy finished third in that race after pulling too hard and though he can go well it's unlikely he'll turn the tables. The Ballyboys has won twice over hurdles around here but probably needs further than this while Mindsmadeup faces a stiff task conceding weight to the selection and has never won over fences.
