In depth

Verdict

Although TURBAN will be making his debut over fences, he'll be a short price to make a winning start and looks to have been found a good opportunity. He hasn't won over hurdles since his debut last November but has come up against some decent opposition and has rarely been disgraced. Castle Wings did well over hurdles but hasn't quite lived up to expectations over fences but Pineau De Re is one to watch. Philip Fenton's charge, a useful hurdler on his day, is taking his time to warm to the bigger obstacles but was noted going on at the finish last time and can get into the mix here. Please Talk is another useful hurdler who should have done better over fences, a remark that also applies to Savello.
