    Verdict

LADY ALAVESA (NAP) is up 4lb for winning a similar grade handicap over the course and distance but advertised her claims in no uncertain terms when only beaten a length in a Class 2 handicap at Wolverhampton on Monday from 10lb wrong in the weights. She should have no problems returning to winning ways in that kind of form as though Ventura Blues was only half-a-length behind on Monday she will be 5lb worse off. First Link is penalised for a comfortable victory over 7f here last week where she stayed on very strongly so should be suited by the extra. Yusra, a winner at Chelmsford in December, had Margie's Choice 1l behind in a Class 3 handicap at Kempton so has to be respected but Delicate Kiss' sole victory on this track was from a 9lb lower mark in lesser grade. Indiscretion has gained both victories on Polytrack including here but hasn't run since last summer.
