In depth

Verdict

Castilo Del Diablo has every chance if his stamina holds out. His recent form over 1m4f here with Modernstone reads well in this context. Be Perfect is proven over 2m having returned an easy winner at Wolverhampton with Communicator a long way back in third. He'd earlier fallen victim to Theology at this venue, but the latter has since ran a shocker and the winning run of Mr Burbridge came to an abrupt end with a poor effort over track and trip last time. LITIGANT ended last year with a cosy win over 1m6f at Wolverhampton. The lightly-raced six-year-old has plenty of scope and Seamus Durack's charge gets the vote to follow-up on his return. Duchess Of Gazeley should also stay the longer trip but is 12lb higher than when winning at Redcar in October.
