In depth

Verdict

Global Wonder had been in winning form over hurdles before gaining a surprise victory over the trip in a Chelmsford handicap. Ridden by a 5lb claimer that day, he's been raised 3lb so will be 8lb higher with Oisin Murphy on board and Huscari, who finished a close fourth on just her fifth start, should get much nearer. BIG JIMBO won over 1m4f at Kempton then made a bold bid over a furlong shorter on a return visit. He's been placed over timber so should stay the trip and gets the nod. Easy Equation has gained both victories on Tapeta at Southwell
