        Verdict

        ROUNDABOUT MAGIC (NAP) needed only to be pushed out to win over track and trip a couple of days ago with both Pharoh Jake and Starchant well beaten. An apprentice’s allowance negates today’s penalty and Simon Dow’s charge can go in again. Tomshalfbrother and Pink Iceburg are both looking to exploit a slide down the weights though look no nearer to doing so but Arzaak may do better back on this surface having raced at Southwell recently. Alaskan Bay finished in front of Cuban Spirit when fourth at Wolverhampton last time without threatening the winner.
