      Verdict

      Four of these ran in the Listed sprint won by Gorgeous Noora here last week. Royal Birth fared best in second but CORINTHIA KNIGHT missed the break so did well to finish third, ahead of Gracious John and Ornate. Archie Watson’s four-year-old looks to be running into form so can come out best today, despite worse terms. Verne Castle was behind the selection and Gracious John over track and trip in December and may struggle to reverse those placings. Captain Lars was even further behind and faces a stiff task at the weights but Boom The Groom ended a long losing run at Wolverhampton nine days ago and has run well around here in the past.
