MONGOOSE ALERT is very lightly raced for his age and may still be on the upgrade. He certainly impressed when accounting for a competitive field over this trip at Wolverhampton last month and it would be no surprise if he proved capable of defying his penalty here. Sequillo has four turf wins to his name but has yet to display the same level of form on the Polytrack and this trip is probably beyond his best while stamina may also be an issue for Rosco Flyer, though he did manage to win over 1m3f at Kempton in the summer. Of the remainder, George Baker's Irish import Humor Me Rene is preferred to Treacle Tart, who almost won by default at Wolverhampton last time.
