Verdict

Fall In Line is in such good form at present that it is hard to oppose Sir Mark Prescott's charge in the finale, with Perfidious, Hip Hop Harry and Digger seen as the main dangers. Fall In Line looked to be a typical stable sort when pitched into handicap company at Wolverhampton last week, and as expected, did not disappoint, beating the favourite Nakwa with ease. Not allowed to rest on his laurels, the four-year-old has been seen out twice since already, delivering the goods easily at Southwell and here at Lingfield. This will be his fourth race in a week, but he obviously thrives on being kept busy and could still be well ahead of the handicapper. Perfidious tried to make all against the in-form Mission To Mars here recently, and found that to be a hopeless task. However, he managed to hang on for second and can make his presence felt again. Digger's stable are finally coming out of the doldrums so he should be noted for a place, but the interesting runner is Hip Hop Harry who will have the assistance of Kieren Fallon. Ed Dunlop's inmate was well adrift of Digger at Southwell last time but looked a different horse when opening his account on the Polytrack earlier. Back on the faster surface, it would not surprise us if he were to go close. However, on the evidence so far, there can only be one outcome-a fourth straight win for Fall In Line.
