A modest-looking handicap. City Ground is of some interest on his first run for Michael Appleby and has a good amateur on board, but was out of sorts when last seen in the autumn and isn’t one to rely on. BARNABY BROOK started at a low level on his return from a two year absence in February but has won two races of this grade and the manner of his latest success suggests there is more to come. The veteran Engai is on a decent mark and can chase him home.
