Hansomelle won well last time and can score again here at the main expense of Ciccone and Orpen Quest. The selection responded well to the cheekpieces last time when scoring here in emphatic fashion to beat Mugeba. That was a first win in almost three years for Sheena West's mare and if the headgear works the oracle again today then she should be capable of scoring once more. Ciccone is a course and distance winner and she was only narrowly beaten by General Flumpa last time at Yarmouth. She is clearly on good terms with herself at present and looks primed for another big run. Orpen Quest won last time but that was in a desperate seller at Bath and he certainly looks to have more on his plate here. Bowl of Cherries has been disappointing of late but there is little doubt that he has the ability to get competitive here. However, he will need to show some of his old sparkle before we recommend him as a bet, and we will return to Hansomelle who looks the most likely winner.
