Benedetto is preferred to Top Draw and High Plains. The selection has escaped from his course and distance success with just a 3lb rise but Wee Buns and Top Draw were only three quarters of a length and a length and three quarters behind respectively. They are 2lbs and 4lbs better off so have clear claims of reversing the form, particularly Top Draw who didn't enjoy that much like in running. However, Benedetto is unexposed, looks capable of making further improvement and can confirm the form. It will be interesting to see how those making their seasonal returns fare in the market but High Plains merits serious consideration with the Hannon yard going so well. He showed plenty of promise at two and may well be able to fulfil it this year; the market should point the way to his chances but we're going to stick with Benedetto.
