Verdict

Pearo should get favourite backers off to a winning start here with Lord Deevert and Ten On Line the others to consider. The selection made a pleasing debut at Catterick and then built on that last time when beating Bettys Touch at Yarmouth. She is clearly going the right way and connections believe there is plenty of room for improvement so she should prove tough to beat. Lord Deevert rates the main danger as he ran well at Leicester last time considering that his saddle had slipped and he had previously shaped with promise at Brighton. He will need to improve again to get his head in front but he should give the selection the most to think about. Ten On Line showed some promise on his debut at Musselburgh and his yard are in good form so he is another that could make the frame. Never Sold Out has been disappointing on each of his two starts and is readily opposable. We will stick with Pearo who looks a solid bet in a weak affair.
