Verdict

A wide-open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Scarrottoo, Lord Chamberlain and Head Boy and the tentative vote goes to Scarratoo. The selection won well last time out when defeating Lady Mo and, although he has a penalty for that win, he has won off a higher mark in the past, and with conditions again in his favour he looks hard to beat. Lord Chamberlain rates the main danger. He also won well last time out when defeating Adalar, and although he is rising in the weights, he is another that should go well. Head Boy is another that could go well. He was a good second behind Blaeberry last time out off this mark and he is another with place claims. Mobo Baco is another that could go well. He has been running well of late and, with the booking of Jimmy Fortune catching the eye, he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder, Cut Ridge is another in-form runner that is on a fair mark, but in a race that throws up more questions than answers, for the winner we return to Scaratoo.
