    Verdict

    La Fortunata stayed on well to emerge victorious last time and an extra furlong today may be within her grasps, although the opposition is more testing and she may struggle to repeat that success. The handicapper may still have the better of Pin Cushion who despite losing her maiden tag last month was poor in her only subsequent start at Epsom in Handicap Company. BOUGAINVILIA is the pick having only found one the better in her most recent run and she has been showing signs of progression. Richard Hannon has a 31% strike-rate on the turf here this season and has strong claims of adding to that tally with his entry in this race.
