        Verdict

        ON TERMS gets the narrow vote in this maiden over Big Nige and Very Distinguished. Simon Dow's filly shaped well on her debut over 1m2f at this venue when she finished fourth behind Pyrus Time. She looked as though she would come on for the run and with this longer trip also in her favour she should go close. Big Nige has had six chances to get his head in front now without being able to take one, but he ran well at Lingfield on his return from a break last time and if he can build on that then he could be a player. Very Distinguished was disappointing in a handicap at Wolverhampton last month but he has shown his best form over this trip and on that basis he has to enter calculations. Swell Fellow has had two runs in bumper company, while Amy Weaver's newcomer Bellaetta catches the eye on breeding and could be worth a market check. However, the vote is given to On Terms who can open her account.
