Verdict

Song Of Parkes bounced back to form here last month when coming with a wet sail to catch Island Legend and GREGORI close home and record her second Polytrack victory. However, the latter pair had taken each other on and played into the winner's hands so with a huge pull in the weights it's Brian Meehan's charge, who had won three races on the surface at the backend of last year, who should gain compensation. Sir Pedro scored at Doncaster in September and was having his first all-weather start when close up behind today's rival Picansort here in November. He got no sort of run that day and can reverse the form though he's pulled too hard in his most recent starts and needs to settle. Ask The Guru doesn't really appear to have taken to the surface and Frankie's mount Fair Value hasn't won since 2012 though she's been racing in much better company.
