In depth

Verdict

Stormbomber hasn't been since topping off an admirably consistent string of placed efforts last season - all on artificial surfaces - with a smooth success at Wolverhampton in October. He's since been gelded and moved stables from Ed Walker to Michael Madgwick. He merits topweight but it may be best to let him run on his return to the track, although the market may provide a useful guide to stable expectations. Flying Dragon, also absent since October, has useful form on Turf and should go close if taking to an all-weather surface. Tora Dorado is in good nick at present and must go close but PROMPTING is relatively unexposed and could be open to further progression over further and moving into handicaps for the first time.
