Verdict

PORTAMENTO was caught close home in a conditions race over 6f at Newmarket last time. He'd made all to win at Goodwood earlier so this shorter trip should not be a problem. Sunset Sail has 10lb to find with selection on official ratings and last month's course and distance winner Expensive Date has even more on his plate. Hatchet Harry is the least exposed but has the weakest form and will need to step up on his maiden win at Windsor to get involved.
