    Verdict

THELIGNY bids for a hat-trick on his handicap debut. He defied a penalty to win a novices’ event at Huntingdon on his latest start. Byron Blue should fare better back at this level having failed to figure at Cheltenham last time while King Cool was runner-up off a similar mark at Plumpton back in March. Eminent Poet and Laugharne also return to action with preference for the former who won twice over timber last season.
