Verdict

Those with racecourse experience all step up in distance today. Alfolk never threatened over a mile at Southwell last time while Allegheny Bay finished a well beaten runner-up over 7f here. But the latter has 7lb to find with MASONIC on these terms and a chance is taken Robyn Brisland’s charge stays the trip on the back of a close-up second at Chelmsford. He’s preferred to stablemate and newcomer Fulham but Lunch is worth noting on his debut. Bishops Cannings was due to run at Kempton last night.
