    Verdict

A wide open maiden here and as usual in these events the market will be very important but the main protagonists look to be Chelsea Ballad Meynell and Valrhona and the tentative vote is guiven to Chelsea Ballad. The selection hails from a yard that can ready a newcommer and this well bred filly by Street Cry will not need to be anything special to make a winning debut. Meynell rates the main danger as she is another well bred type from a top yard and should be watched in the market but on pedigree she should be suited by a longer trip in time. Valrhona shaped with promise on her debut last season and is sure to have learnt from the expetinace but the draw could have been kinder and she is taken on with this in mind. Of the remainder Cybersnow is another well bred type that could go well but her stable are not renowned for debutante winners while Norman The Great has had plenty of chances and again looks vulnerable and for the winner we are happy to return to Chelsea Ballad.
