Formidable Guest is a speculative pick to see off Blu Manruna and Mutamaasek. Jeff Pearce's charge has put up two eyecatching performances over similar trips at Kempton and if able of building upon these efforts, the handicapper may not have had chance to react. Blu Manruna is the class act in this race. He would be a certainty on turf but his record on artifical surfaces is disappointing. Mutamaasek was backed last time out as if something was expected. It would be no surprise to see further monies today. Border Edge is given another try over the trip while Bowl Of Cherries chases an elusive first win at the track. Danelor is much better than his latest run suggests and is noted in the market. Reveur has claims if able to come back from two stinkers. A difficult getting out stakes and Formidable Guest could represent value at the likely odds.
