      Verdict

      MAGICAL EFFECT made a promising start when narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton. The Godolphin colt can open his account with normal improvement and is preferred to Rashash. The latter is also expected to finish closer after a modest debut effort here back in June and looks a better bet than stablemate First Dream. Twin Turbo has cut little ice in handicaps and returns to maiden company while Patrick makes more appeal than Sinema of the newcomers.
