    Verdict

    MOON TROUBLE has struggled in decent handicaps since scoring at Chelmsford last summer and drops down in class. Mick Appleby’s charge may well return to form on today’s favourable terms and is preferred to Swiss Pride. The latter won a claimer at Kempton in October with Steelriver back in third but the veteran Upavon has shown no improvement in handicaps despite tumbling down the weights. Flowers On Venus landed a hat-trick of claiming races here back in 2017 but has been hard to keep right since.
