Verdict

Agent Basterfield was allowed to make all at Brighton in April and won as he liked. But he’s been raised 10lb as consequence and it’s likely Jamie Spencer and UNIVERSAL ORDER will keep closer tabs on him in this. The latter made a winning return in novice company at Bath last month with an impressive display and there should be plenty more to come from David O’Meara’s colt over this longer trip. Natty Night looks up against it on what he’s shown to date.
