In depth

Formwatch

Musical Heath (IRE) Won last time out at Epsom in July by 0.75l. Carrying top weight today but good jockey booking and cannot be ignored.

Kareeb (FR) Was second here last time out over 7f. Has consistent form but last win was a year ago.

Stratton (IRE) Only 2l beaten last time out and previous back to back wins make him an improving type; coming from a good draw in conditions which suit makes him a likely contender.;

Bon Ami (IRE) Finished seventh here last time out; losing run stretches too far back for him to be considered today.

Parker Won at Chester in June on Good to Firm ground over 7f beating Brevity by a length; recent form has been poor in comparison but a return to his best makes him one to consider.

Inchdura C&D winner last time under a big weight; has to go close today.

Petrus (IRE) C&D winner in June; reported to have hung right on most recent outing when finishing eigth at Ripon. Reunited with his winning jockey (claims 5lbs) today; cannot be igored

Knocktopher Abbey Penultimate start showed best recent form when a decent second to Kelburne at Ascot in July. Form lacks consistency, last win was over two years ago.

Goodenough Mover Punished by the handicapper (raised 30lbs) for four consecutive wins last summer. Disappointing on last start at Salisbury when soundly beaten; others preferred.

Ma Jolie Proved herself capable when producing best form to win at Doncaster last time out; was reported to be lame after her run at Thirsk in June and suffers back trouble. If she remains free from ailments then she should go close.

Mister Clinton (IRE) C&D winner last time out. Has been running well of late and has to be considered today despite better company.

Naviasky (IRE) Just beaten at York last time out. On penultimate start produced a win at Brighton beating Hugwity 2l; one for the short list today.

Zietzig (IRE) Ran well to finish second last time out at York over 6f; previous form only moderate including here over C&D.

Moojaz This lightly raced filly has produced good form winning last time out at Windsor and placed on her debut run. Ran green when winning. Should improve today; has serious chances.

Honest Warning Won at Beverley back in June, but has not proved the form since to make him one for the short list today.

Take Flite Ran well here last time out to finish a close up fourth. Has not won for over a year; only place chances at best.

Mutabassir (IRE) Back to back wins at Brighton (late June and early July), but most recent form suggests he is not at his best.

Hugwity Best form comes on the all weather, but has run creditably on the turf, finished 2l behind Naviasky at Brighton on penultimate start; others preferred today.
