This is the most competitive event on the card and we have narrowed in down to a tentative trio, Lazzaz, Most Saucy and Bakhtyar, with the last named just having the edge. Bakhtyar finished behind Most Saucy here back in July in the race won by Belle Rouge, and has since performed better at Chepstow. The fact that Roger Charlton is willing to take this one on again suggests he has improved and he could reverse the form. Most Saucy has been successful since over course and distance, beating today's rival Peak Park by a short margin, with no weight difference there should be little between them again.Following two victories, Lazzaz was well beaten at Pontefract last time over twelve furlongs . Back over a more appropriate trip we should see a better performance. In a very open event Private Benjamin and Montosari are two others to note, but after much deliberation Bakhtyar is just given the vote.
