Verdict

Music Major won here in February and again last month when unfancied. He's up 3lb but this is no tougher so he has to be respected. He had almost 2l to spare over Estibdaad in that even earlier in the year but the latter is 5lb better off and arrives in very good heart having made most and stayed on strongly at Chelmsford when last seen in September. BAYSTON HILL was 1l behind Music Major last time when receiving 3lb. He gets 12lb here taking Nicola Currie's claim into account and that should be enough to turn the tables and gain his first victory on the surface. The Gay Cavalier has dropped to a winnable mark and his young rider's claim is a bonus but Betsalottie has a poor strike-rate though managed to win at Windsor in October and hasn't been beaten far in either subsequent start over 1m4f on this track.
