In depth

Verdict

Mister Frosty still runs the occasional good race despite having gone 27 starts without a win and did so last time when a runner-up to Indian Violet here. New Den has been placed on his last two starts over today's distance and could figure along with Rosewood Lad, who has also been in better form of late. But such is the modest form on offer, it would be no surprise if WESTERN HOPE proves good enough on her belated debut. A half-sister to the smart Listed and Polytrack winner Saphira's Fire, Simon Dow's filly would not have to be anything special to take this.
