In depth

Verdict

Northside Lodge, Hiawatha and Moayed are three against the field in another wide open affair and the vote goes to Northside Lodge. The gelding from the Peter Harris yard has been in good form of late and was a fair second behind Blue Sky Thinking last time, he runs off the same mark here and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Hiawatha was third in that race and is two pounds better off with the selection here so he will not be far away. Moayed is another that could go well he won well last time out when defeating The Gaikwar but that was in a seller and he has yet to prove he stays a trip this far. Oldenway is thrown in on his best turf form and he could go well for his in-form yard however he has yet to prove he acts on this surface. Of the remainder Stateroom is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to the in-form Northside Lodge.
