Verdict

The betting suggested LATE NIGHT MARK was fancied to make a winning start over a mile here last month but was let down by inexperience. Charlie Hills' colt is expected to make a better fist of this with the longer trip likely to suit. Old Town Boy should be in the mix after a better effort at Wolverhampton last time and Turnbury is another to consider stepping up in distance with Frankie on board. But the main threat could come from Barye, who should have come on from his recent introduction over track and trip where he recovered from a slow start to finish fifth.
