    Verdict

Blushing Russian looks the pick in this very competitive event, Mythical Charm and Wind Chime could be the main rivals. Pat Haslam's three-year-old gained a deserved victory last time, comfortably getting the better of queue up in a Southwell claimer. This race is probably slightly stronger but there could be more to come and he looks the one to be on. Mythical Charm also hit a winning note last time, beating Hiawatha in a similar race over the ten furlong trip. The drop back to a mile shouldn't be a problem and he should be involved in the finish. Wind Chime is not the most consistent of performers but has solid claims on on the pick this year's form. Homebred Star may do best of the others, but for the winner we will side with Blushing Russian.
