The David Evans-trained No To Trident has shown a decent level of form and has to be respected on his reappearance but there are some interesting lightly raced and unraced rivals against him in opposition and a chance is given to Vice Consul, who gets the vote ahead of Emshabb. The last mentioned stepped up on his debut effort when upped in trip at Kempton last time and he has every chance. Princess Lomi showed some ability on her debut and should improve for the step up in trip, while stable companion Barring Decree is less likely to stay this far. Nowzdetime ran better over course and distance last month and has place claims but the vote goes to Vice Consul. Mark Johnston's colt is bred to be useful being a son of In The Wings out of a Rainbow Quest mare and it would come as no surprise if Johnston was to have him fit enough for his debut.
