A poor contest gets proceedings underway but many would have chances on their best form with the principals likely to be Leophin Dancer, Dances With Angels and Giko and the tentative vote goes to Dances With Angels. The selection was only beaten 12 lengths behind Galley River in a much better race last time and he is dropping markedly in class and off what looks a fair mark he will be hard to beat. Leophin Dancer rates the main danger as he is a game frontrunner, but his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Giko is another that could go well as he was a fair sixth behind Lissahanelodge last time and he has definite place claims. Sharp Spice is another that could go well but he may just need the run after a 186 day absence. Of the remainder Hellbent is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market and for the winner we return to Dances With Angels.
