A competitive enough race and SPRING GODDESS is a speculative pick against Millfield and Glencal. The booking of Jamie Spencer could be a significant one as Spring Goddess returns to Lingfield for the first time in over a year. Spencer won on the mare on his last ride on her at this track and having shaped well in a pipeopener at Warwick, she could be up to taking advantage of a helpful mark. Millfield is consistent but is exposed as a consequence. A tendency to break slowly has not assisted matters. Hughie Morrison is having winners so a note of recent Leicester runner-up, Glencal, is made in the market. Zero Cool sees Ryan Moore replace Jemma Marshall in the saddle today. Daniel Thomas won twice in May. The handicapper was quick to rise him in the handicap accordingly. Peter Winkworth's Colour Trooper won a bad maiden in style. He bombed out at Wolverhampton but is of interest now back at this circuit. Shake On It appears to have lost his way.
