Battalion has only had one run on the all-weather so far, finishing third to Prince Bishop over 1m4f at Kempton in September. He filled the same place behind Sky Hunter in the St Simon Stakes at Newbury next time but, on a line through the winner, may have a couple of pounds to find with EDUCATE. Ismail Mohammed's charge arrives off the back of a fourth in a Listed race at Newmarket and ran well behind Prince Bishop on Tapeta at Meydan in March when beaten just over two lengths. Niceofyoutotellme is tried at this level for the first time having dead-heated for second in the Cambridgeshire last month but Energia Fox was placed in Grade 1 races in her native Brazil and is preferred to Marco Botti's other runner Energia Davos. Fire Fighting was just caught over 1m4f at Kempton 10 days ago but will be having his 17th start of the year and his first around here.
