Verdict

Momkinzain showed promise when third on his debut at Newbury last April but has disappointed in three starts on turf since. He looks to have something to prove here and preference goes to FIRST ROCK. The dual bumper winner has done all his all-weather racing at Southwell so far, but there is no reason why the Rock Of Gibraltar gelding shouldn't handle this surface and he gets the nod. Ned Ludd is winless in 27 starts on the Flat and King Kieren and Set Em Up Mo have shown little to recommend them here.
