Winterlude ran no sort of race in soft ground at York last time and has something to prove over today's longer trip. Nautilus was raised 7lb for finishing second at Newmarket but still ran out an easy winner at Leicester recently though William Buick prefers stablemate Space Ship. The latter has claims on his earlier second at Ascot while Evangelist just held off the attentions of Plutocracy at Bath last month and there's little between that pair here. CAFE SOCIETY failed to get the decent pace he needs when a fast-finishing fifth at Ascot. But there should be no hanging about in this with Evangelist and Mahican in the field and David Simcock's colt gets the vote to come out best.
