SINGINGINTHERAIN is our idea of the most likely winner with Elation and Leaving Alone also on the shortlist. Terry Mills' charge is from the family that includes Where Or When and Danehill Destiny. On pedigree, this step up in trip suits and it could be that she fares better going left handed rather than right as she did at Kempton. Elation finished ahead of our selection when they last met and it is fair to say that there was plenty of confidence about her on that occasion. Leaving Alone has a very distinct American pedigree. Expect to see her setting the early fractions if her previous form is anything to go by. Chichi has plenty of stamina on her dam's side so the trip should not be too much of a concern for this daughter of Tomba. Freddie's Girl will set the benchmark as far as the figure players are concerned. Sunley Spinalonga represents a yard that can have them ready first time out though the market is often a good barometer as to the likelihood of success. This could be quite a decent maiden by the track's standards so Singingintherain is the selection.
